All recipes are for 2 servings unless noted. Oil is canola oil and salt is kosher salt.


Tamanegi doresshingu, goma-aji / onion dressing, sesame flavor

Finely chopped onion adds subtle sweetness.


(for 4 small salads)

1/4 medium onion
3 tbsp rice vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp canola oil
1 tsp sesame oil
Pinch salt (not in photo)


Finely chop onion.


Mix all ingredients.

Taste, and add salt as necessary.

  • Finely chopped celery is a nice addition.
